İyi, hafif bir gizem.

The most readable book of the many written about the greatest shipwreck of all time -- the whale ship Essex. Well researched and thoroughly enjoyable.

Few authors write with the clarity and utter believability of the characters, but Carol Shields is one who does. In this book she writes from the male and female perspective, a week in their lives, and in that time you explore the foundations and development of that relationship and marriage, the luck and paths taken.

من تمام کودکی ام با چند تا کتاب پر می شه. یکی از اونا همین قصه های خوب برای بچه های خوب! عالی بودن! ده تا کتاب از کل ادبیات ایران، فکر کنم بعد از خوندن این کتاب بود که می دونستم که نصف داستان های ایرانیو بلدم، و این حس خیلی خوب بود. کودکی دیگه پر از وهم و اینکه چه بهتر، من از بقیه بهترم چون بیشتر می دونم. واقعا شاهکار بودن، چه قدر داستان چه قدر زحمت برای جمع کردنشون کشیده بودن:)
