Bu kitabı babamın bana kaydolduğu bir ay-kitap kulübünde aldığımı hatırlıyorum. kitap seçmeli yaz okuma kitabı listemde oldu, bu yüzden okudum. Geriye dönüp baktığımda, bu kitabı 8. sınıfta okuduğuma inanamıyorum. ilgili bir hikayede, 8. sınıfta hiç arkadaşım yoktu.

Reread 3/7/13 review: I liked this way less after reading it a second time... I still love Julian, because he is awesome, but oh god. Just... ugh. And I even skipped the useless "then" chapters. Original 3/11/12 review: This would have easily been 5 stars, except... I can't get over this annoying time-shifting-each-chapter thing. I mean, srsly, STOP IT. I get it, we want to have it all suspenseful, but come on. Just give me the past, then the future, get on with it. I think the most infuriating part was that the present time was so good, and the past was so boring, I just wanted to skip. That said, the ending was great (though expected) and I can't wait for the next one.
