I read this book slowly. The writing style is very unconventional and perhaps that was intentional - it made you think as you read it, it made you absorb all the pain and emotion. And now that I'm done - I feel drained! This is the story of 3 individuals who come together against all odds and form a relationship which is dependent on one another. 1 alone doesn't work, 2 doesn't work - it only works when all 3 meld together. The writing also forces you to take a leap and believe that it's okay for these 3 to end up together - just when you think that all they're doing is tearing eachother apart.

Incredible and beautifully written. The last 20-pages or so are a little slow, but you can stop reading or skip them. Hard to put down. Originally written in Spanish, the English translation is just as intriguing.
