This book was excellent. I think that the publisher's doing it a disservice by just automatically comparing it to Twilight. I think the premise is mighty strong on its own, and while it can draw comparisons, it should be left to fend for itself. The story has werewolves, pixies, shape shifters, and one strong and intelligent main character. The way all of the elements fit together is very smart. There is surprisingly little violence and nearly no foul language, yet there is a lot of action, suspense, and movement. This is usually not my type of book, but I flew through it. The last 2/3 of the book took an hour and a half. So, so good!
Fluff!
Loved the story and life in a NYC italian family.
