Kitap iyiydi, ama aslında filmi daha çok seviyorum (bu benim için bir ilk!). Geisha`s hakkında daha fazla bilgi görmek isterdi ...

I don't think I'm smart enough to read Virginia Woolf. I enjoy her beautiful writing, I do get her main points (at least I think I do) and her occasional jokes, but I just don't get the deeper meaning of her works and I don't have the patience to be as attentive to every word as I believe her writing requires. That being said, this was a fascinating story that made me smile from time to time. But it is difficult, which I think is a shame.

In keeping with pseudo-Utopian futuristic science-fiction novels, I decided to read this one after I finished "Brave New World." I was going to read "1984" next, but apparently I don't have a copy of it. Anyway...I liked this one a lot. It's fast-paced, with great characters, even the ones that only show up for a scene or two. I wouldn't have minded seeing more of Clarise, who was one of most inriguing characters I've read recently, but it makes perfect sense, and fits in the story, that she only had a few pages. The edition of the book I have contains an Afterword, which is cool, and a Coda, which is even cooler. I almost enjoyed reading Bradbury's Coda as much as I enjoyed reading the rest of the book.
