I love a good mystery, and this story definitely had a good mystery as part of its foundation. For me, the mystery served the purpose of enhancing and painting the characters in vivid detail and bringing forward a lot of information about Korean culture versus taking over the limelight. I certainly wanted to get to the bottom of the apparent murder, but that became secondary as I relished the development of Cole and Jae-Min’s relationship. Moving on to the second book is a necessity in order to see what the future holds for these two – this first book will only leave you wanting more!
